In a dynamic and globally connected business, commercial success is built on strong customer partnerships and disciplined execution. As Account Manager within our Perform Business, you play a pivotal role in driving sustainable growth across a defined portfolio of customers and new opportunities. You will directly contribute to revenue growth, margin quality, and long-term customer success by combining strategic account management with hands-on commercial execution. This is a highly visible role with direct impact on business performance across regions.
What is your role?
Reporting to the Vice President, Core Business, you operate at the heart of our commercial organization. You work closely with Global Key Account Management, Regional Account Management teams, Technical Service & Growth Enablement, Marketing, and Business Operations. You are responsible for:
Managing and growing a portfolio of customers within key application segments and/or regions
Building strong, multi-level relationships with customer stakeholders and positioning iGM as a trusted partner
Developing and driving structured account plans and maintaining a healthy opportunity pipeline
Identifying and winning new customers within established application segments and regions.
Leading commercial negotiations aligned with pricing governance and margin expectations
Ensuring accurate forecasting, CRM discipline, and pipeline transparency
Collaborating cross-functionally with supply chain, operations, technical service and customer service teams to deliver seamless customer experience and execution
Acting as the voice of the customer and feeding insights into portfolio and solution development
Your impact:
Grow revenue and improve margin quality through disciplined account management
Expand customer base by identifying and converting new business opportunities
Strengthen long-term partnerships with strategic customers
Provide clear visibility on risks, opportunities, and performance to leadership
Who are you?
5+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management or commercial roles within industrial or specialty markets
Proven track record in managing customer portfolios and delivering growth
Strong commercial mindset with solid negotiation and relationship management skills
Experience working in cross-functional and matrixed environments
Comfortable with CRM systems, forecasting, and structured sales processes
Proactive, ownership-driven, and results-oriented
You are located in the Netherlands, and your commercial experience is in at least one or several countries in EMEA.
