Why this role?
As part of the newly established IGM Next organization, this role supports the continued development of our UV monomer trading activities across EMEA and the Americas. The Trading Specialist plays an important role in connecting commercial opportunities with operational execution, ensuring customers receive reliable support while enabling efficient coordination across the business. This position offers exposure to international markets, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to contribute directly to the success of a growing trading organization.

The Trading Specialist:
Reports to the Commercial Trading Manager
Key interfaces with Procurement, Logistics, Demand Planning, Business Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Regional Account Managers, and customers across EMEA and the Americas
Has no direct reports
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of customers and support daily trading and commercial activities.
Maintain customer communication regarding pricing, product availability, lead times, and order execution.
Prepare, issue, and follow up on quotations and commercial offers.
Coordinate trading transactions and ensure smooth operational execution across internal functions.
Support forecasting activities by maintaining accurate customer and market information.
Monitor order progress and proactively address supply, logistics, or execution issues.
Contribute to continuous improvement of trading processes, reporting, and ways of working within IGM Next.
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor's degree or equivalent working and thinking level in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commercial Economics, Logistics, International Business, or a related field.
Approximately 1–5 years of experience in trading support, inside sales, commercial operations, customer service, or supply chain coordination within an international B2B environment.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Comfortable working with CRM systems and structured commercial processes.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in an international environment.
German language skills are an advantage; Mandarin language skills are considered a plus.

This role provides broad exposure to international trading operations, commercial execution, and cross-functional collaboration. Working closely with multiple departments and regional teams offers valuable insight into the end-to-end UV monomer business and creates opportunities for further development within commercial, supply chain, and trading functions.
