About the Role

Reliable supply is about more than having the right products available today. It requires visibility, anticipation, and decisive action when supplier constraints, capacity challenges, or product transitions put future availability at risk.

As Supply Planner, you help safeguard product availability across EMEA and North America while balancing service, inventory, and operational efficiency. With a particular focus on supplier performance, supply risks, and product lifecycle execution, you turn potential constraints into clear scenarios and coordinated actions.

What is your Role?

Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager, you work closely with Procurement, Sales, Order Fulfilment, Finance, Production, Business Operations, suppliers, and other Supply Chain colleagues.

You combine hands-on supply planning with proactive risk management. From replenishment decisions and supplier performance to new product introductions and phase-outs, you create visibility, align priorities, and keep mitigation actions moving.

Your Impact:
• Protect product availability – Translate demand, inventory, lead times, and operational constraints into effective purchase and replenishment decisions.
• Stay ahead of supply risk – Identify supply-demand gaps and supplier or capacity constraints early, assess their business impact, and develop practical mitigation scenarios.
• Drive supplier performance – Act as a key Supply Planning contact for supplier performance, facilitate supplier reviews, and follow through on improvement actions.
• Turn constraints into action – Coordinate solutions such as reallocations, capacity adjustments, supplier actions, and alternative supply options, with clear ownership and timelines.
• Strengthen planning alignment – Bring relevant supply insights, risks, assumptions, and scenarios into short-term execution and longer-term S&OP planning.
• Enable successful product transitions – Safeguard supply readiness for new product introductions, transitions, and phase-outs while helping minimize excess and obsolete inventory.
• Improve how we plan – Use ERP and planning systems effectively, maintain reliable planning data, and identify opportunities for more standardized, efficient, and data-driven ways of working.

Success in this role means supply risks are anticipated and effectively managed, product availability is protected, and suppliers and internal teams work together to ensure reliable supply and optimal inventory levels.

Who are you?

As our new Supply Planner you have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning, or a broader Supply Chain role.
• Experience working with suppliers and inventory in an international or matrix environment.
• Strong understanding of MRP and supply planning principles, with experience using ERP systems; SAP is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; experience with Business Intelligence tools is an advantage.
• A proactive communicator who can bring different stakeholders together, create clarity under pressure, and follow actions through to completion.

Over de Functie

Een betrouwbare supply draait om meer dan alleen het vandaag beschikbaar hebben van de juiste producten. Het vraagt om inzicht, vooruitdenken en daadkracht wanneer leveranciersbeperkingen, capaciteitsuitdagingen of producttransities de toekomstige beschikbaarheid in gevaar brengen.

Als Supply Planner help je de productbeschikbaarheid in EMEA en Noord-Amerika te waarborgen, waarbij je de juiste balans bewaakt tussen service, voorraad en operationele efficiëntie. Met een specifieke focus op leveranciersperformance, supply risks en product lifecycle execution vertaal je potentiële knelpunten naar heldere scenario’s en gecoördineerde acties.

Wat is jouw Rol?

Je rapporteert aan de Supply Planning Manager en werkt nauw samen met Procurement, Sales, Order Fulfilment, Finance, Production, Business Operations, leveranciers en andere Supply Chain-collega’s.

Je combineert hands-on supply planning met proactief risicomanagement. Van replenishment-beslissingen en leveranciersperformance tot nieuwe productintroducties en phase-outs: jij creëert inzicht, brengt prioriteiten op één lijn en zorgt ervoor dat mitigerende acties voortgang houden.

Jouw impact:
• Waarborg productbeschikbaarheid – Vertaal vraag, voorraad, levertijden en operationele beperkingen naar effectieve inkoop- en replenishment-beslissingen.
• Blijf supply risks voor – Signaleer supply-demand gaps en beperkingen bij leveranciers of in capaciteit vroegtijdig, beoordeel de impact op de business en ontwikkel praktische mitigatiescenario’s.
• Verbeter leveranciersperformance – Fungeer als belangrijk Supply Planning-aanspreekpunt voor leveranciersperformance, faciliteer supplier reviews en zorg voor opvolging van verbeteracties.
• Vertaal knelpunten naar actie – Coördineer oplossingen zoals herallocaties, capaciteitsaanpassingen, leveranciersacties en alternatieve supply-opties, met duidelijk ownership en heldere deadlines.
• Versterk planning alignment – Breng relevante supply-inzichten, risico’s, aannames en scenario’s in binnen zowel de korte-termijnexecutie als de langere-termijn S&OP-planning.
• Maak succesvolle producttransities mogelijk – Waarborg supply readiness bij nieuwe productintroducties, transities en phase-outs en help tegelijkertijd overtollige en obsolete voorraad te minimaliseren.
• Verbeter onze manier van plannen – Werk effectief met ERP- en planningssystemen, zorg voor betrouwbare planningsdata en identificeer mogelijkheden voor meer gestandaardiseerde, efficiënte en datagedreven werkwijzen.

Succes in deze rol betekent dat supply risks tijdig worden voorzien en effectief worden beheerst, productbeschikbaarheid wordt gewaarborgd en leveranciers en interne teams samenwerken aan een betrouwbare supply en optimale voorraadniveaus.

Wie ben jij?

Als onze nieuwe Supply Planner heb je een bachelor- of masteropleiding afgerond in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration of een vergelijkbare richting.
• 2–5 jaar ervaring in Supply Planning, Demand Planning of een bredere Supply Chain-functie.
• Ervaring met leveranciers en voorraadmanagement binnen een internationale of matrixorganisatie.
• Een goed begrip van MRP en supply planning-principes en ervaring met ERP-systemen; ervaring met SAP heeft de voorkeur.
• Gevorderde Excel-vaardigheden en sterke analytische en probleemoplossende capaciteiten; ervaring met Business Intelligence-tools is een pré.
• Je bent een proactieve communicator die verschillende stakeholders bij elkaar brengt, duidelijkheid creëert onder druk en acties consequent tot afronding brengt.
