Why this role?

The supply planner ensures optimal product availability across APAC by balancing inventory, service levels, and operational efficiency. The role is responsible for end-to-end supply planning, supplier coordination, lifecycle management, and proactive risk mitgation to ensure the right product is available at the right time. The supply planner works closely with Business Team, Global Demand Planning, Site Supply Chain and Procurement to ensure the right stock is available at the right moment. The role transforms complex constraints into reliable customer delivery, directly supporting operational efficiency and business growth.

Position in the Organization

• Reports to: Order Fulfilment Manager - APAC, Supply Chain

• Key interfaces: R&D, Application Labs, Trading Desk, Marcom, Regional Sales, Operations

• Direct reports: No; full end-to-end accountability for assigned segment portfolio

Key Responsibilities

• Monthly cycle demand analysis to review forecast accuracy with global demand planning and align on improvement

• Replenishment planning for SH/TW/JP on IC materials

• Manage re-sell materials supply planning

• Set and maintain optimal safety stock levels

• Develop and implement inventory strategies to achieve target DIO and work with Sales on inventory liquidation plans

• Regularly analyze inventory levels and identify slow-moving or excess stock

• Manage inventory allocation planning across multiple external warehouses

• Lead supply feedback meetings with relevant stakeholders to validate short-term supply plans and align on mitigation actions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales and Global Supply Chain, to align supply plans with business strategies

• Develop and implement reporting tools and dashboards to provide visibility into supply planning performance

• Manage and maintain supply planning master data, including product code management, PIPO planning, and product code differentiation

• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within the supply chain

• Maintain hands-on use of ERP systems for supply planning activities

• Communicate supply plans, potential risks, and performance metrics to key stakeholders and drive mitigation actions to close supply gaps

• Liaise with Procurement, Buyers, and Production teams regarding purchase orders, production schedules, delivery schedules, and supply-related issues.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Knowledge with chemicals would be preferred.

• 5 years+ proven experience with demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and supply planning processes

• Experience in the chemical industry will be in priority

• Proficiency in Excel Skill is a must

Development & Exposure

This role offers direct exposure to strategic segment decisions. You will own end-to-end supply planning across APAC, managing IC and re-sell materials, multi-warehouse allocation, and inventory strategies to achieve target DIO. You will collaborate closely with R&D, Sales, and Global Supply Chain, building strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
