About the role
In a dynamic global specialty chemicals environment, this role is central to accelerating customer-led growth across North America. You will take ownership of a defined customer portfolio while actively expanding our footprint through new customer acquisition.
As part of the Core Business, you play a key role in strengthening commercial discipline, improving pipeline quality, and ensuring sustainable margin growth. Your impact will be visible across regions, customers, and internal teams.
What is your role?
Reporting to the Vice President, Core Business, you operate at the heart of our commercial organization, working closely with global and regional stakeholders across Sales, key account management, , Technical Service, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain.
You are responsible for driving both growth and structure — balancing strong relationship management with disciplined execution.
Your impact:
Grow and manage a portfolio of existing customers, building strong, long-term partnerships at multiple stakeholder levels
Develop and execute structured account plans, ensuring a healthy opportunity pipeline and reliable forecasting
Identify, pursue, and win new customers within defined segments, expanding iGM’s market presence
Lead commercial negotiations aligned with pricing governance and margin expectations
Coordinate cross-functional execution including key account management, technical service, business operations, supply chain and customer service teams, to ensure successful onboarding, trials, and ongoing customer satisfaction
Maintain high-quality CRM data, ensuring transparency in pipeline, forecasting, and performance
Deliver against revenue and margin targets while proactively signalling risks, opportunities, and market insights
Who are you?
You are a commercially driven professional who combines strong relationship skills with discipline and ownership. You thrive in an international, matrixed environment and know how to turn opportunities into measurable results.
Bachelor’s or Masters degree in business, Commercial, or a related field
7–10+ years of B2B sales or account management experience in industrial or specialty markets
Proven track record in managing customer portfolios and delivering sustainable revenue growth
Strong commercial acumen with solid negotiation and deal management skills
Experience working in cross-functional and international environments
Familiar with CRM systems, structured sales processes, and forecasting methodologies
