About the role
In a dynamic and growing business environment, laboratory efficiency and reliability are critical to delivering consistent product quality and customer satisfaction. As Laboratory Assistant, you play a key role in enabling smooth laboratory operations, ensuring that samples, testing, and material handling are executed with precision and speed. This role directly supports technical excellence and operational performance, contributing to both internal efficiency and customer success across the region.
What is your role?
Reporting to the TSBD Manager, with day-to-day guidance from the Laboratory Supervisor, you will work closely with Sales, Technical teams, Logistics, and external partners. You are responsible for ensuring that laboratory processes, sample handling, and documentation run seamlessly and meet the highest quality and safety standards.
Your impact
Execute fractioning and industrialization activities in line with specifications, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency
Manage the full sample lifecycle—from selection and preparation to labelling, shipment, and tracking—ensuring full traceability
Support laboratory testing activities such as viscosity, colour, density, curing/drying, adhesion, and chemical resistance
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment, including equipment, materials, and waste handling
Control laboratory inventory and sample stock levels, ensuring accuracy in systems and timely replenishment
Prepare and review technical documentation (e.g., COAs, labels, technical data), ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards
Coordinate sample imports and shipments, monitoring timelines and ensuring smooth communication with stakeholders
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency
Who are you?
• Technical degree in Chemistry (required); bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field is a plus
• 2+ years of experience in laboratory routines, sample handling, or material control
• Familiar with physicochemical testing methods and good laboratory practices
• Structured, detail-oriented, and disciplined in documentation and data handling
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and managing operational data
• Intermediate English is an advantage
