About the Role
In a global and fast-evolving specialty chemicals environment, reliable demand planning is the foundation for service, cost control, and profitable growth. As Global Demand Planner, you translate amongst others commercial ambition, product strategy, and regulatory realities into a robust and transparent demand plan.
This is a high-impact role at the heart of our global S&OP process. You will influence cross-functional stakeholders worldwide and ensure our S&OP process is fueled by robust, transparent and data & business-driven insights.
What is your role?

You are responsible for:

Validating statistical forecasts and enriching with business and market intelligence
Integrating strategically selected customer-level forecasts into the global demand picture
Facilitating demand review discussions and constructively challenging assumptions
Consolidating demand plans across products, customers, and regions into one aligned global view
Identifying risks and opportunities within the planning horizon and making them transparent
Supporting scenario modelling (upside/downside cases) and gap analyses versus business targets
Preparing high-quality, well-documented demand inputs for the global S&OP cycle
Safeguarding transparency, traceability, and auditability of assumptions
Proactively identifying improvements in tools, processes, and ways of working
Your success means a demand plan that is realistic, aligned, and decision-ready — enabling better service levels, inventory control, and capacity planning across our global network.
Who are you?
You combine analytical depth with business acumen. You are comfortable working with complex datasets, but you never lose sight of the commercial context behind the numbers.

Proven track record translating commercial, lifecycle, pricing, and regulatory assumptions into realistic demand plans
